This week went by super fast for some reason, and I'm glad it's Friday because I've had a cough all week, so I'm hoping I can get more rest this weekend to kick it.  & Juliet, Fisher Theatre, Detroit What I've been up to this week: Seeing & Juliet at the Fisher Theatre. I had been looking forward to this one but wasn't entirely familiar with its plot, other than it was a twist on Romeo & Juliet . A friend mentioned it's a jukebox musical, and I was like, what's that? Turns out it used pop songs from the last 20-25 years or so and it was a TON of fun—it probably ranks up there with my top musicals now (in case you're wondering: Waitress and Phantom of the Opera ). This has been a busy week—my mother-in-law is visiting and helping us with the baby, so because of that, I have been able to be more active than I would have been otherwise, including seeing a show at the Fisher! What I've been up to this week: Seeing Beauty and the Beast at the Fisher Theatre. I apparently missed my pitch email for this one and realized it was coming up so I messaged my contact. I got to see it last night with my mom, and it was a FABULOUS time—I last saw it in 2016 at the Fox , apparently, and I believe they've revamped it since then. A lot of people dressed up as Belle or the Beast last night, too, including kids, which was a lot of fun.
