Review and GIVEAWAY: Mac 'n cheese dishes return to Noodles & Company {ends 10/15}

*Disclosure: I received a complimentary tasting at Noodles in exchange for this post. The opinions expressed here, however, are my own. Starting today, Noodles & Company is bringing back its mac 'n cheese dishes! You can head to a Noodles near you to try their Truffle Mac, Buffalo Chicken Mac, or BBQ Pork Mac, in addition to their standard, the Wisconsin Mac & Cheese. I headed over to the Macomb, MI Noodles location on Monday to try out the new/returning mac 'n cheese flavors, as well as a bevy of other dishes from their menu. Full disclosure: I normally don't like many mac 'n cheese dishes. However, there are a few here that I definitely enjoyed. We started off with some potstickers, garlic bread and marinara sauce, and the Korean BBQ meatballs with Gochujang sauce—all of which I have ordered before and really enjoy. (the potstickers, especially, are tasty, and the meatballs have a bit of a spicy kick to them too) We then tried the Chicken Verac...

Pasta Fresca - new (returning) dish at Noodles & Company (and a GIVEAWAY!)

*Disclosure: I was treated to a tasting at Noodles in exchange for this review. The opinions expressed here, however, are my own . Last week, I was able to attend a tasting at the Noodles & Company located in Novi, MI, to try out their new Pasta Fresca dish. I say "new" but it's actually a returning favorite, and is going to be a permanent addition on the menu - it's one of my favorite dishes so that's good news to hear! We started off with some salads and their new Thai soup, another favorite of mine. Pictured above is the Chicken Veracruz Salad, which consists of mixed greens, tomatoes, red onions, chili-lime chicken, bacon crumbles, fresh-cut corn, avocados, and cilantro, tossed with jalapeno ranch dressing and crispy jalapenos. It's a little spicy for me but I liked the chicken in it. We also had some potstickers, which is my favorite appetizer to order at Noodles. The potstickers come with a mild spice soy sauce, and they're made out of ch...

Restaurant review: New dishes at Noodles & Company, Novi, MI {and a giveaway!}

*Disclosure: I received a complimentary meal from Noodles & Company in exchange for this blog post. The opinions expressed here, however, are my own. If you're a longtime reader of my blog, it's no secret that I'm a big fan of Noodles & Company - I go there fairly often with my family, and I have reviewed them twice ( here and here ) on my blog, as well. This week, I was able to sample some of the restaurant's new dishes, at the Novi, MI location, and I definitely did not leave hungry! We started off with the new Thai chicken soup, which I have actually ordered before, fairly recently. My previous favorite at Noodles & Co. was the chicken noodle soup, which is now a seasonal menu item, I believe, but this is a close runner-up.  The Thai chicken soup is a coconut curry soup (although not spicy, in my opinion) with onion, cabbage, red bell peppers, lemongrass, lime galangal, turmeric, and shallots, and is quite tasty; it manages to taste creamy withou...

Review: Noodles & Company, Macomb, MI {and enter to win Noodles for a YEAR! Ends 12/12}

*Disclosure: I received a meal at the Macomb Noodles & Co. in exchange for this post. The opinions expressed here, however, are my own. Back in June, I tried out some of the newest salads and other dishes at the Noodles and Company located in Royal Oak, MI. This winter, Noodles has some new mac 'n cheese and other entrees out, so I headed to the Macomb, MI location—which just recently opened—to try them. We started out with a few appetizers, including a new-ish one that has come to be my favorite - the Korean meatballs. We also tried some of the salads that debuted this summer, and the restaurant's garlic bread, which is always good. The meatballs come marinated in a Gochujang sauce, and they're a little spicy; I don't normally like spicy foods, but they have just the right amount of spice. The two salads we tried were the Chicken Veracruz (left), and the Napa Market Salad with chicken (right). Spicy Korean beef noodles

Review: New Salads and Noodle Dishes at Noodles & Company {+ a giveaway!}

*Disclosure: I received a free meal at Noodles & Company in exchange for this post. The opinions expressed here, however, are my own. Noodles & Company just released two new salads, in time for summer, and they've also been revamping their menu a bit. I've been a huge fan of Noodles for a while now (their pasta dishes are super tasty!) and I was excited to stop by the Royal Oak, MI Noodles along with some other local bloggers to try out the new salads as well as some of their more classic pasta dishes. We started off with their Korean meatballs , with Gochujang sauce, which are new on the menu, so I had not tried them yet. The sauce they are in has a bit of a kick, but I don't usually like spicy foods and I found them to be very tasty - I will definitely order them again at some point for an appetizer.
