Yes/No Foods: Giulio & Sons (adoba hotel), Dearborn, MI #EcoTravelwithadoba

Get ready to drool a bit more, my moviegoer friends. I recently talked about my experience at Buddy's Pizza in Dearborn, during the #EcoTravelwithadoba blogger event, and during the event, we dined at Giulio & Sons (in the adoba* hotel) three times - twice for breakfast, and once for dinner.
This post will focus on the dinner, but the breakfasts were delicious as well - the best deal is the breakfast buffet ($15) which has pretty much everything.
The first thing you'll notice when you arrive at Giulio & Sons for dinner is the dessert buffet, because most likely you will walk past it to your table. Definitely save room for dessert, as the buffet is delicious.
(there were almost TOO many to choose from - the restaurant's famous bread pudding, tiramisu, cannolis, cakes, and more)
We were "good" and started with salad, though, as well as some wine (Riesling, for me). I'm a little picky about salad dressings (I like sweet or savory dressings) and theirs was very good - some sort of vinaigrette.
I chose the mushroom ravioli for my main course. What was very cool about Giulio & Sons' menu is that it's presented to you on a tablet - you can click the entree names to see a picture of the entree, and the description is below it as well. I love anything with mushrooms in it, and this came in a great buttery/creamy sauce, too.
After the salad and main entree, it was finally time for the the dessert bar. I grabbed a little bit of everything, even the bread pudding, although I'm usually not a bread pudding fan. My favorite desserts ended up being the cannoli and the cream puff.
Giulio & Sons, as well as the hotel itself, is committed to helping the environment, and the glasses that you will drink out of there are made out of reusable wine bottles, which I thought was very interesting.
I definitely enjoyed my three meals at Giulio & Sons - my only suggestion would be to add a dairy-free milk substitute to go with the cereal on the breakfast buffet, since the only options were whole milk, 2%, and skim.
I would return to Giulio & Sons for dinner when I want to have a nice meal out. The dinner prices are a bit expensive (they range from $22 to $38 or so, per entree) but the ambiance is great, and the quality and freshness of the food was delicious as well.
