The Detroit Symphony Orchestra (DSO) will be playing the music of Star Wars at Meadow Brook on Friday, August 13th, and TWO of my lucky readers will win a four-pack of pavilion tickets to see the show!

Star Wars is a favorite movie franchise of mine, and I have seen all of the movies in the franchise.

About the show:
Experience the music of Star Wars like never before when the Detroit Symphony Orchestra takes you to a galaxy far, far away at Meadow Brook Amphitheatre on the campus of Oakland University on Friday, August 13, 2021 at 7:30 p.m.

Conductor Steven Reineke will lead the orchestra in a brand-new program that includes music from throughout the Skywalker Saga as well as the two anthology films, Rogue One and Solo: A Star Wars Story, all in chronological order. Don’t be a “stuck-up, half-witted, scruffy-looking nerf herder” and join us for this incredible concert. In the immortal words of Master Yoda, “Do, or do not. There is no try.”

The music of Star Wars was written by famed American composer John Williams and performed by the London Symphony Orchestra for all six feature films from 1977 to 2005. From the “Main Title" from Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope to the ominous “The Imperial March” associated with Darth Vader, fans will be taken to a galaxy far, far away rekindling memories of their favorite scenes as well as recurring, individual themes and battles that took place throughout the Star Wars saga films.

To purchase tickets, visit the 313 Presents website—lawn tickets start at $27.50, and pavilion starts at $35.00.

Enter via the widget below. Giveaway will end on Saturday, July 31st, at 11:59pm EST, and winners will be notified the next day via email, and have 24 hours to respond, or an alternate winner(s) will be chosen.

Winners must download The District Detroit app and create a 313 Presents account, as the tickets are digital tickets and I will be transferring tickets to the winners from my account.

Detroit area residents only, please.

Good luck!
