From Illumination producer Chris Meledandri, director Benjamin Renner (Ernest & Celestine, The Big Bad Fox), and co-director Guylo Homsy (Despicable Me 2, Sing), MIGRATION features an all-star cast including Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Stuber), Elizabeth Banks (Pitch Perfect, The Hunger Games), Keegan-Michael Key (The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Keanu), Awkwafina (Ocean’s 8, The Little Mermaid), and Danny DeVito (Batman Returns, “Taxi”).

My review:
My favorite character in this film was the little sister, but they were all good. Awkwafina was also hilarious as a New York City pigeon (voicing it).

The voice cast in this one definitely had a ton of A-listers: Kumail Nanjiani as the dad duck, Elizabeth Banks as the mom, Keegan-Michael Key, Awkwafina, and Danny DeVito as the uncle duck.

I did think it was a little scary for very young children; I would recommend it for those 7 or 8 years of age and older, unless you have a 5-6 year old who is more mature / doesn't get scared easily. (for example, there's a scene where the duck family fears they will be eaten by another creature ... sorry if spoilers!)

Overall I really liked this movie, though, and would give it 3.5/5 stars.
