This has been one hell of a week ... hoping that the next week and weekend are better.

| Bodysuit I got for Baby K while in Vegas for work |
What I've been up to this week:
- Insane car troubles. On Saturday, I had my Crohn's infusion, and then was driving to get us takeout ... and my car engine STOPPED working. Like I could tell I was just coasting. I was super lucky and was almost at Telegraph, so I pulled into the Jeep dealership and was able to park, and I also walked inside to explain the situation to make sure THEY didn't tow me. The tow truck took about two hours to show up, so I walked over to CFA and had lunch (and enjoyed the air conditioning), and then I had him take me to Belle Tire ... the driver was also super nice and gave me a drive home, too, otherwise my husband and the baby were going to have to come get me.
Fast-forward to Tuesday night, when I was driving my husband's car, and experiencing some of the same issues. On Wednesday AM, he got in his car to drive to work, and drive the baby to daycare, and had the same issues, so out of caution, he came home ... Wed. AM I called like 5-10 car rental places in the area and no one had SUVs to rent (husband is tall) but finally an Enterprise about 15 minutes away had one. We always book our car rentals (on vacation, usually) through Costco Travel because it's cheaper, so we rented it for a week, although we may not need it now because my car is back from the shop ($550 later, but a lot cheaper than I thought it would be!) and his will be back today, too. But yeah, not a fan of all the adulting this week. - Crohn's infusion. I have these every eight weeks, and generally I'm very tired after so I get us takeout from a drive-thru and then go home and rest a bit ... but instead I had to wait two hours for a tow truck. (only good thing was I had my iPad and AirPods with me, so I could watch a bit more of the new JLo movie on Netflix, and also I did not have the baby with me, because that would have been more difficult)
- Getting takeout/delivery, and going out to eat. I had CFA on Saturday since I walked there, and we got Noori on Wednesday night, after that rough day, from Doordash. I also went out with some high school friends on Tuesday night to Crispelli's in WB—more on that below.
- Doherty Elementary School final walkthrough. I moved to Michigan in the mid-to-late 1990's, when I was nine years old, and I attended Doherty Elementary. We moved to a house, from an apartment, a year later, and I was supposed to attend a different elementary school for my final year, but I didn't want to have to make new friends again, so my mom drove me; therefore, I went to Doherty for two years. The WB school district is demolishing the building, I think because it's so old, and building a new one, and the public (including alumni) were invited to come walk the halls one last time; I asked around and a few high school friends were going, with their kids, so I went with them. It's wild how much I remember from elementary school and also how the school didn't feel like it had changed at all—we walked through what was the gym/cafeteria, and also the music room, and I had vivid memories of being in both. After, we went to Crispelli's for dinner, which was my first time taking Baby K to a sit-down restaurant, and she did very well and also enjoyed some bread.
- Watching Office Romance. I was excited to watch this one, as it looked super cute, and it was. Brett Goldstein and JLo star in it, on Netflix. I started watching it during my infusion, then I watched a bit more while waiting for the tow truck, and then I finished it at home. I don't think I need to see it a second time but it was cute, and surprisingly raunchy ... I'd give it maybe 3.5/5 or 4/5 stars.
