Last weekend I was in Grand Haven for a girls' trip (5th annual, actually), and this weekend I'm relaxing at home a bit, which I'm looking forward to.

What I've been up to this week:
- Traveling. Two friends and I stayed in an Airbnb in Grand Haven, and it was a cute, 2-bedroom cottage, with a futon. It also had a pulldown projector screening that was connected to a PS3, so we could watch Netflix and Hulu shows, which was awesome. We had great weather all weekend, as well.
- Seeing alllllllll the movies. MoviePass switches to its 3 movies per month plan next week (same price, $9.99 per month) so I've seen 4 movies this week with it, and I intend to see two more before Sunday, too. On Monday, I saw Hotel Transylvania 3 (3.5/5 stars); on Tuesday, I saw a screening of Alpha (not with MoviePass); on Wednesday, I saw The Darkest Minds (3.75/5 stars); as I write this, I'm about to see Crazy Rich Asians in about an hour; and today, Friday, I'm intending to see The Meg. Tomorrow my boyfriend and I are going to see BlacKkKlansman. So if you're keeping count ... that's 6 movies in 6 days!
- Cooking subscription service meals. On Monday night, I cooked my last Marley Spoon meal, Crispy Oven Fried Ravioli with quick tomato sauce and broccolini, and on Wednesday night I cooked some Hello Fresh sesame beef tacos. And although not from a subscription box, on Thursday night I cooked some Fresh Thyme steak and cauliflower with Penzey's spices, as well. (as always, you can use my Hello Fresh referral code HERE to get $40 off your first box)
- Catching up on TV shows. The three shows I've been watching this summer are Younger, which is my favorite "fluff" show; Detroiters, which is hilarious; and Better Call Saul, which just came back to TV. I'm also trying to finish up the newest season of Orange is the New Black on Netflix, and I've been working my way through Community on Hulu.
- Going out to eat. On Tuesday, before the Alpha screening, I met my parents for dinner at Pieology in Royal Oak, and tried their new cauliflower crust. Although I prefer the regular bread crust, this one was still tasty. On Friday (today), two friends and I have plans to go to BD's Mongolian BBQ, also in Royal Oak, and on Saturday, my boyfriend and I will be going to MOD Pizza in Troy—check back soon for a post about that and the chance to win a $25 MOD gift card. Troy Restaurant Week starts this week, too, and I plan on checking out Ruth's Chris (early anniversary dinner), Station Square with coworkers, and Eddie V's with fellow Yelpers.
