By the time you read this I will probably be on a plane to Vegas—I'm going there today for a friend's wedding on Sunday. We're actually staying downtown for two nights, which is new for me, and on the Strip for two nights, and it should be a fun time.

What I've been up to this week:
- Weekend in Indiana. My boyfriend had Friday and Monday off work for the Easter holiday, and I took both days off as well, and we went to Indiana from Friday through Sunday to see his parents and sister—his dad and his sister both have April birthdays, so it was more of a birthday celebration then Easter. It was a good time and we DIDN'T have to drive back on the same day (in December, his furnace stopped working so we unexpectedly had to leave at like midnight and drive the five hours home), so that was also nice.
- My first-ever Red Wings game. I was supposed to go to a Red Wings game in December 2021 but got COVID and was not able to go, so this was my first ever game; we bought tickets at LCA (fee-free, if you buy at the venue vs. from Ticketmaster, btw!) when we were there for Duel in the D. It was the Red Wings vs. the Dallas Stars, and they lost pretty badly to them (6-1) but it was a fun experience, and I also got to see a coworker friend who volunteers during games.
- Dining out. On Friday, we stopped at Culver's on the way to Indiana, per tradition—I love Culver's, especially its cheese curds and pretzel bites—and on Sunday, we had a gourmet Easter dinner of McDonald's, on the way back to Michigan. On Monday, we stopped by Bakersfield in Detroit, before the game—a while back, one of my credit cards gave me a $50 credit for signing up for InKind, an app you can use to pay bills at restaurants, and after my boyfriend used my referral link, I got an additional $25, so we therefore had $75 to spend, which was great. The only two Detroit restaurants on InKind are Bakersfield and JoJo's Shake Bar, unfortunately, but the app has Chicago, Cincinnati, Vegas, and other cities on there as well.
- Seeing movies. I saw Paint in the theater on Wednesday night, and I'd give it 3.5/5 stars—for some reason I thought it was actually going to be ABOUT Bob Ross, and it was not, but it was definitely inspired by him, and Owen Wilson was great as the lead (see my Instagram video review here). I also saw Air on Thursday night—I'm writing this today, Thursday morning, so I don't have a review yet, but there will probably be an Instagram video or a tweet up with my mini review.
- Watching TV shows. I have a few new shows this week: Beef, on Netflix, with Ali Wong and Steven Yeun (Walking Dead), which I've been binging since yesterday, and Tiny Beautiful Things, on Hulu, which I've only seen a few episodes of, so far, but it's very good, and stars Kathryn Hahn. Michaela Watkins, who I just saw in Paint yesterday, is also in it—she was in a Hulu show I liked, apparently from 2015, called Casual, and it was a great show but got canceled after four seasons. Today I'm hoping to catch up on Married at First Sight, if I have time, and maybe finish watching Beef.
