The Michigan Renaissance Festival (RenFest) is back again this year! It opens on August 19th and will run until October 1st at its grounds in Holly, Michigan.

Some tips: 1) Don't go the very last weekend (we did and waited a while to get off the highway into their parking lots); 2) pick up a map when you arrive; and 3) when you arrive, you can purchase tickets to the right, or if you already have tickets, you can go to the left. 

*As a heads up, they are also charging for parking this year, and it is $10 per car.
