Film synopsis:

Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree. When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole, her powers are entangled with super-fan Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau. Together, this unlikely trio must team up and work together to save the universe.

Rating: PG-13

My review:

I can kind of see why this one wasn't promoted as much as other Disney/Avengers movies I've seen—although it had a great cast (Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, etc.), the script didn't give them much to work with. I was happy to see Iman Vellani back as Ms. Marvel, though (see picture below)—Ms. Marvel is actually a Disney+ series, of which there's only one season thus far, and it's great, so I highly recommend watching that before watching this movie.

The most memorable scene in this film involved a herd of cats on a spaceship ... I won't give spoilers but it's pretty hilarious and innovative.

I did laugh a few times during this movie but overall I'd rather watch Ms. Marvel again then return to this one, as I felt like it didn't really have a concrete plot. 2.5/5 stars.
