My review:
I really liked this one—in my video review on Instagram, I gave it 4/5 stars. I laughed out loud a few times during it, which surprised me, and the duo of Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan definitely carried the movie.
The supporting cast was good as well, though, including Chad Michael Murray, from the original movie, and Maitreyi Ramakrishnan (Netflix's Never Have I Ever) as a pop star in a side plot. Mark Harmon is also back, as Curtis's character's husband, and Manny Jacinto (Nine Perfect Strangers, The Good Place) is new as Lohan's character's fiancee.
If you enjoyed 2003's Freaky Friday you'll definitely enjoy this one; it can be seen as a standalone movie, but I'd highly recommend seeing the 2003 version first.
