And just like that, it's the end of February—to me, it kind of feels like January went by super slowly, and February went by super fast, for some reason.

| Sangria at Sedona Taphouse, Novi |
What I've been up to this week:
- Getting delivery/eating out. Last Saturday I actually got to go out to eat! Rare nowadays with a baby. I met a friend at Sedona Taphouse, in Novi—I used to go to the Troy one a lot for their happy hour, but have only been to Novi a few times. It's a little bit pricey but everything was good—I had the sangria (pictured above) and chicken marsala, and my friend had a cocktail and their gluten-free flatbread.
I also had a free birthday coupon for Crumbl, so I stopped by and got a S'mores cookie and also bought one of their Nutella ones; I liked both, but the S'mores was better IMO. On Sunday night, we got La Marsa via Dorodash, which is always tasty. On Sunday, we got takeout from Green Lantern, since I had a free cheesy bread coupon; their pizza is always great. And on Tuesday or Wednesday, I forgot which, we got Doordash from El Patio—I like their chicken quesadillas a lot. - Watching TV shows. Love is Blind aired its final two episodes before the weddings this week, and I'm looking forward to watching Bridgerton part two—I was hoping to have some time yesterday to watch it but Baby K had a doctor's appointment so there was no time. I'm behind on Shrinking and Hijack, but I started The Burbs, on Peacock, and it ended up being a lot of fun ... I basically have finished the series but I have about 20 minutes left in the last episode. I'd like to see the Tom Hanks movie of the same name now too—I think it came out in 1989, and Peacock also has it (it was the inspiration for the new TV series).
I also binged the first three episodes of season two of Paradise, on Hulu—great show, and Shailene Woodley is a good addition to the cast, IMO—and caught up on Industry, on HBO. - Doing errands. After Sedona Taphouse and Crumbl last Saturday, my husband needed gas (I had taken his car to lunch because of that), so I went to Costco in Northville/Livonia, plus Panera to use my Sip Club membership and also Best Buy to pick up something he had ordered for us.
- Canceling a credit card. I had to cancel one of my oldest credit cards this week because they raised the fees, and IMO the new perks aren't as good either. Kinda sad about that but also a bit annoyed—I had messaged on the online portal asking them to close it in early March, and they wrote back saying "we can't do that right now, message again when you want it closed" ... and then went ahead and closed it. Granted, that's what I wanted, but I also wanted to see if maybe I could downgrade and get a year comped or something, since I have had that credit card for so long ... oh well. I called the company to inquire / make sure the account was officially closed, and they said it was. Hopefully it won't affect my credit score too much since it's an older account of mine.
- Trying to plan a work trip. I'll be in Vegas for the Sweets & Snacks Expo in May and I finally booked my airfare this week. I also booked the Horseshoe (aka always Bally's to me, I refuse to acknowledge the name change LOL because I have been going there with my parents since 2000/2001 ...) for my hotel, and I messaged a friend who lives in the area, as we usually meet up when I'm in town.
