I was in Orlando from Sunday through Wednesday this week for work, and even though it was hot (about 87-89 degrees daily), it was nice to attend my conference and also get some consecutive sleep.

What I've been up to this week:
- Work trip to Orlando. The last time I had been to Orlando was January 2018, when a friend and I hit up Disney World for two or three days, I believe, and Universal Studios for two days. I didn't have any theme park time this trip, unfortunately, but my conference (a candy one) was a lot of fun and I also squeezed in about an hour at the hotel's pool and waterslide area (see pic below).
- Eating out and getting delivery. The day before I went on my trip, we got Pink Garlic via Doordash, which was tasty. The Sunday I arrived, I didn't get into my hotel room until 2pm or so, and my Uber had passed a Zaxby's on the way there—I have only had them once, so I got it via Doordash for lunch, plus I always get almond milk delivered so I have some for the week. They were tasty but no Cane's. Breakfasts and lunch were provided by the conference, as well as dinner on the last day, but I met up with some of my in-laws for dinner at Bonefish Grill on Monday, which was nice. And last night we got El Patio via Doordash for dinner, which is always tasty.
- Watching TV shows and movies. I started watching a new Netflix reality show on the plane, Age of Attraction, only to realize I KNOW one of the contestants, which was random ... she used to date a family member a while back. It looks like she didn't find a match though so she was only in episode one. I'm caught up on Paradise and I also watched the Love is Blind reunion yesterday plus Shrinking ... I'm still behind on most of my shows though and I'm a few weeks behind on Hijack and The Last Thing He Told Me, both on AppleTV.
I also watched The Boys on the Boat on my Detroit to Orlando flight, it was pretty good but I kept falling asleep. It came out a few years ago, but I didn't see it then, and it's directed by George Clooney. - Going on a waterslide. When you're pregnant you're not supposed to go on waterslides, so it has been a least 1.5 years since I've been on one (which was especially tantalizing because my old gym, The Hawk, had one). I brought a bathing suit on my trip, because I saw the hotel (JW Marriott, Orlando) had a super nice pool area, and after eating a quick Doordash lunch on my first day there, I had about two hours so I ran down to the pool area. This hotel had THREE waterslides ... one required an inner tube and sometimes I don't fit in those, the other two were luge-style (you lay down on them). I chose the one that had no line, and supposedly was the "easiest" of the three, but it was pretty scary to me, haha, albeit a lot of fun. The hotel also had a lazy river so I did that, with an inner tube, but I only had about an hour before conference activities started, so it was more like a "fast river" to me because I had to book it, LOL.
- Wearing my Peeps bracelets. I get a lot of snacks and candy mailed to me because of my job, but Peeps is doing a ton of collaborations this winter and I received some of those last week, too ... including two super nice Alex & Ani bracelets. Alex & Ani is a Rhode Island-based brand so I knew about them a long time ago—my RI aunt used to send me some gifts from them—and since then, they've exploded in popularity. I thought it would be fun to wear them to the conference - no one noticed them, unfortunately, but they are really cute IMO.
